Enjoy your swimming pool all year round
In most areas of the Costa del Sol, the comfortable swimming season is only around three to four months of the year. This is because cool nights or inclement weather reduces water temperatures very quickly and confines use of the pool to the 'more hardy' among us.
The addition of a heater gives you the potential to maintain your preferred swimming temperature for an extended season or year-round. Just imagine the benefits
Open air ... The energy source
The air is a limitless source of energy. The heat pump extracts heat from the open air and moves the stored energy to heat our swimming pool.
This application allows the swimming pool heat pump the most energy saving form of active pool-heating. When the outside temperature is 5 degrees Celsius or more, the pool heat pump is capable of heating your pool.
Below, we give you the average temperature per month in Marbella. These temperatures can be somewhat higher than in other (Casares and Estepona), villages on the Costa del Sol, because Marbella is due to its geographical location a bit more protected against the wind.

In other words, the ideal temperature to keep the pool at a pleasant temperature during the winter months .
Each kW of electrical energy, that the operation of the pump requires from the outside, supplies from
4 to 5.4 kW (COP = value) to your pool.
Required heat capacity
| 6500W | 30 m3 | |
| 8800W | 40 m3 | |
| 13000W | 60 m3 | |
| 18000W | 50 m3 | |
| 21000W | 100 m3 |
With a heat pump you save up to 80% on the cost of heating your swimming pool, jacuzzi or spa.
Consumption is 20% of the capacity, so a heat pump of 8800W consumes 1750W.
The heat pump works from 5°C optimal.
