Pool heating with solar energy
Heating with solar energy is the most cost-efficient and environmentally friendly option for heated swimming pool water. The swimming pool water circulates through a series of tubes, called the collector, driven by the filter pump of your pool. If you have a powerful filter pump, then your solar collector mostly is placed on the roof of the house, or the roof of a garden shed, or garage, where the pool water can absorbe heat and warms up and is returned to the pool. With regular filter pumps you can use the solar collector simply on the ground.
With a solar collector you get 680 watt per 4.6 meters summer sun. Free and without polluting the environment. Choose an area collector of 33% of the pool area. Only the purchase of solar panels, you must pay, its use is free, because you use the filter pump anyway to clean the water.
You can easily place a pool heating solar energy yourself. Just connect a flexible tube with the exit of the swimming pool filter at the entrance of the system. Then place a second flexible tube from the output of the system to the entrance of the pool filter. Finally connect the collectors.
In warm countries this technique even is used to cool the swimming pool during hot summer months. One allows the water to circulate at night through the collector .

Pool heating with electrical heat pumps
Electric heat pumps extract natural heat from the air and contribute it to the swimming pool water. These pumps use the same technology as air conditioners and refrigerators. They are very efficient in terms of energy, because they get four-fifths of its energy from the ambient air, a renewable and non-fossil fuel.
